Christen Simpson Raynes, Dental Care for the Next Generation
Christen Simpson Raynes, DDS, MBA received her Bachelor of Arts in biology and her DDS degree from West Virginia University. She chose to expand her business knowledge, receiving her MBA from the University of Charleston. Dr. Christen continually strives to be on the forefront of dentistry, staying well informed of new technologies while improving care for the next generation of patients. She is known for her compassion, gentle touch and caring approach to each patient she treats. She is happy to be the third generation of Simpson dentists carrying on the tradition of providing beautiful smiles.
Dr. Christen brings deep, firsthand expertise in implant dentistry to every patient she treats. She spent 20 years working alongside Dr. Mark Simpson, one of the most prolific implant providers in the country, building the clinical foundation that has helped our team restore over 6,000 implants and counting. She is a mentor with the Cdocs Academy, where she shares that expertise with the next generation of clinicians. Her professional memberships reflect her ongoing commitment to the field, including membership in the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Christen is active in the community as a part of the Charleston Area Alliances and the Gabriel Project. Dr. Christen also volunteers at Health Right to provide dental care to the underprivileged adults of West Virginia.
Dr. Christen was selected to the Young Guns Class of 2009. Young Guns is a group of upcoming, select professionals who are community movers and strive to make West Virginia great. Dr. Christen was selected by WV Executive Magazine for their “Young Guns Reloaded” issue to honor her achievements since being selected as a Young Gun eight years earlier. She was also selected by the State Journal in 2010 to be among the “Top 40 Professionals Under 40.”
Most recently, Dr. Christen was selected as one of Incisal Edge’s 40 under 40 America’s Best Young Dentists. Incisal Edge, published by Benco Dental, the leading lifestyle magazine for dental professionals nationwide, selects 40 of the top young dentists in the nation. Incisal Edge celebrates dentists’ achievements both inside the operatory and during their hard-earned downtime.
Dr. Christen enjoys spending time with her husband, Derek, and her two kids, Ben and Adia. They enjoy watching WVU sports and outdoor activities such as camping, biking and skiing.

Chase Preston, DDS
Dr. Chase Preston is a proud West Virginia native, raised in Logan, WV. He earned his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Marshall University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Preston began his career serving patients at Valley
Health in Huntington,WV, where he gained extensive
experience in cosmetic, surgical, pediatric, and family
dentistry. He is passionate about continuing to grow as a
clinician.
Known for his approachable personality and ability to put
patients at ease, Dr. Preston enjoys treating patients of all
ages. He finds fulfillment in transforming smiles—not
just esthetically, but in ways that improve each patient’s
confidence and lifestyle. Whether relieving pain during a
dental emergency or building lasting relationships with
families, Dr. Preston strives to make every visit
comfortable and even enjoyable.
Outside the office, Dr. Preston is an avid golfer and regularly competes in tournaments across the state through the West Virginia Golf Association.
